Pay Per Play On Motorsports Web Talk

As some of you may have noticed, that when you visit my blog, you may have heard an audio advertisement. If not, not to worry as they only play for a select bunch of users at random and based on many factors out of my control for the time being. But the possibility is there. Why am I letting my readers know about this?

Well I want to share this new monetizing possible alternative to you. You too can add audio adverts to your website or blog. And this type of advertizing is called “Pay Per Play”. The best part is that each and every visitor is money in your pocket, regardless if they return in a minute, a day or dont even have a sound card. And if you get in on the Beta testing before it closes, which I have been recently told is very soon. You will be able to earn money off people you referred to the program! Not a bad way to make some extra money.

Edwards Wins Texas Shootout

It came down to a shootout at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend as Carl Edwards powered his Sprint Cup car to the checkered flag ahead of rival Jimmie Johnson. The race came down to a green white checker sprint when a late caution came out for Martin Truex who poured oil all over the track when he ran into mechanical problems.

On the restart, Edwards ran away from Jimmie, not giving him a chance. The real action on the restart was back in around 5th place as 6th through 10th, the only lead lap cars, went in to pit and took fresh tires. Clint Bowyer who restarted 6th powered up to battle for 4th but a last lap incident saw him kiss the wall and drop back to 10th. Read the rest of this entry »

Setzer Brings His Truck To Victory Lane At Martinsville

For the first time since the late Bobby Hamilton won at Mansfield in 2005, Dennis Setzer took Bobby Hamilton Racing back to Victory Lane. “This win right here is for Bobby Hamilton only — he is the man!” shouted crew chief Marcus Richmond after Setzer, who had run 173 laps since his final pit stop, crossed the finish line with trucks wrecking in his wake. Grandfather Clock For Hamlin

Denny Hamlin took the checkers at Martinsville to win one of Nascar’s neatest trophies. A Grandfather clock, something not many drivers own. Hamlin waited late into the race before getting out front, but on lap 484, lapped traffic was kind to him as lapped traffic bottle up the leaders and put a big distance between him ad 2nd place driver Burton.

Castrol ACT Schedule Released

Castrol ACT series schedule

Last year the series made it to Capital City Speedway and again will return this season. They put on a great show if not their largest car count for the whole season at any track. Many teams found themselves watching from the pits for the feature as too many cars showed up to qualify. For some pictures on this race goto Dew Motorsports and take a look through their pictures page under the Toromont race.

As well they have some pictures from the St. Eustache race as well when they were running Cyr’s previous years championship car. That car was the #88 Late Model..

ACT schedule released

Last year I was able to take in some of the racing action at Kawartha Speedway when the ACT series made it stop there. Was a decent race although the car count was “modest”.
